You’re not broken.

You’re just a Good Girl.

If you’ve spent your life being “the good one” — responsible, kind, capable, high-achieving — yet feel exhausted, stuck, or disconnected from yourself, you might be experiencing what’s called Good Girl Syndrome.

This Hub exists to help you finally understand what’s been happening — and to show you gentle, empowering ways forward.

You don’t have to figure this out alone

Understanding Good Girl Syndrome can be the beginning of a profound shift — not by becoming someone else, but by coming home to yourself.

If you feel called to personal support, you can explore coaching options designed for high-achieving women who put themselves last and make themselves small, ready for honest, transformative work.

About this work

Good Girl Syndrome is a concept developed to name a quiet, often invisible form of suffering experienced by many women — especially those who appear successful, capable, and “together” on the outside.

This Hub was created as a central place to:
• Name what so many women feel but can’t explain
• Normalize experiences that are often minimized
• Offer language, clarity, and compassionate pathways forward

Behind this work is Julie Vander Meulen, empowerment coach, writer, speaker, and the creator of the Good Girl Syndrome framework.
